Submissions invited for
Panda Awards

The Wildscreen Festival is back, searching for the world's best wildlife and environmental films. Entries for the Festival's prestigious Panda Awards, dubbed the green OSCARS, will be welcomed from Monday 25 January until Friday 26 March.

In 2008, the Festival attracted 440 films from 43 countries; 62 productions were selected for viewing by the Final Jury and 22 prizes were awarded in fields as diverse as animal behaviour to campaigning, editing to newcomer. The 2010 awards will be presented at a gala Award Ceremony held during the Festival week where over 650 leading industry figures are gathered together to celebrate and applaud the winning films.

Film entry fees
You can enter as many films as you like into one or more award categories. For each film submission, you will be charged for the number of categories entered. It costs £100 for the first category and £40 for each subsequent category, except for the following awards which cost:

Newcomer - £35

Campaign - £50

Promotion of filmmakers from developing countries - £50

Short - £50

Series - £200 (You must enter 2 separate episodes into the Series category i.e. £100 + £100)
